Ryo Ishikawa’s Bizarre Used Soft Drink Bottle Practice Routine – Video.

In the many years reporting on top professional golf we’ve come to witness some bizarre training aides that players will use to gain that extra advantage.

There’s been all sorts of gadgets from using a medicine ball between the legs or arms, gadgets that fit under your arm pit plus these fibre-glass sticks you see sticking out of the bag of many of the pros.

Of course, most of the pros now also useĀ Trackman.

However Japan’s Ryo Ishikawa produced the latest and one thing is for certain is didn’t cost him and arm or a leg.

It was a plastic drink bottle that comes with two or three different caps and stuck on each of the caps is a varying height rubber tee.

Just check out the video of Ishikawa on the Copperhead practice range working on his game, also with a cut-down driver, ahead of this week’s 2014 Valspar Championship in suburban Tampa Bay.
